Purpose: To explain to others the link between globalization in business. Likely meant to help students at the school as well as encourage those to pick their school by showing their educational ability.
Value: This article helps in being able to see how communication among people supports globalization and the interconnectedness of the world. This is helpful in showing how my project (on communication) links to the global context chosen (globalization).
Limitations: The article is primarily focused on business, and as such it may be hard to get information. However, as the introduction is more focused on a general view instead of business; it can still be used.

Purpose: To explain each global context as well as ideas linked to it. Likely meant for either teachers, students, or people interested in the IB (mainly parents).
Value: This source will help in justifying that what I am saying about the global context is valid and does truly relate to it.
Limitations: Only a short paragraph is available for each context with each being a summary that lacks detail. This is fine, though, as only a small amount of information is required for the use within the report; with this source only being a way to justify the definition used.

Purpose: To teach others basic Japanese.
Value: This source is mainly to be used for a couple of things. The first being the way the book can be laid out, the second being what can be included in the book (i.e. units).
Limitations: As the book is not about French, some of the things included are not applicable to the book being created (e.g. no such thing as name suffixes in French, but they are present in the book because it is about Japanese).

Origin: Online version of the Collins Dictionary, a trustworthy dictionary published by the HarperCollins company. This version specifically contains English to French translations.
Purpose: To translate words from English to French for unknown words while writing the book.
Value: Contains trusted translations with context and explanations. As the source is trustworthy both due to its reputation and as it was recommended by several French teachers, it is one of the best tools available to translate.
Limitations: Cannot translate entire sentences and trying to do so one word at a time will lead to a mess, as it does not help with sentence structure or grammar. Another tool is to be used when is needed.

Origin: Reverso is a translation website headquartered in France.
Purpose: To translate entire sentences whenever needed, such as for phrases/idioms and for when there are so many words being needed to translate it is easier to translate the entire sentence.
Value: Reverso shows the same sentence being translated in other media, such as books, to show the validity of the translation. This means that it can, most of the time, provide good quality translations.
Limitations: Sometimes, there are no matches for the phrases inputted. This generally leads to inaccurate translations, at which point the tool should not be used.

Purpose: To be used to help in explaining things like grammar by seeing how they did so, and then using parts of it within the book. Also, to be used as an external source to be recommended for further reading.
Value: The website can explain some grammatical concepts far better than I can, and I plan on using variations of those explanations within the book. It contains some pages on vocabulary or other things, too, that are to be used as well. This will all strengthen the quality of the book and improve the trustworthiness of it.
Limitations: Many pages are completely useless and some things aren’t explained in much detail. This will be overcome by using other sources, too.

Purpose: To be used to help in explaining things like grammar by seeing how they did so, and then using parts of it within the book. Also, to be used as an external source to be recommended for further reading.
Value: The website can explain some grammatical concepts far better than I can, and I plan on using variations of those explanations within the book. This will strengthen the quality of the book and improve the trustworthiness of it.

Purpose: Contains guides on the French language, which are to be used to make me better understand certain concepts and to help teach others those same concepts.
Value: Has a large amount of information that will be used for the reasons mentioned in purpose. The source is trustworthy, and it can be mentioned as a source for further information within the book, too.
Limitations: Does not cover many advanced topics. This is not too big of a problem, as neither will the book I am creating.

Purpose: To be used to better understand certain French concepts and to help teach others about them.
Value: Contains a huge number of detailed lessons, including on advanced topics. This will help as I can use some of the explanations in the book or have it be a place readers can go to for further reading.
Limitations: Some explanations require large amounts of previous knowledge of French, meaning I will need to change them heavily to use them which is not a big problem as I was already planning on doing so.

Purpose: The lessons are to be used for the same reason as other French websites, to help better explain topics and to expand my knowledge.
Value: The website contains many pages on grammar and sentence structure that I plan on using.
